Your Wedding Day – the first day of the rest of your life. Make it a day to remember and a ceremony to treasure.

No two couples are alike; therefore no two ceremonies should be alike. I have a selection of ceremonies, readings and vows as well as a vast selection of other resources for you to choose from. This will enable you to build your ceremony to your beliefs, traditions and dreams. Your personal journey together can be woven into the ceremony. I am happy to offer suggestions on music and the roles you may want your guests to have in your ceremony. I will attend a rehearsal to ensure that everyone in the wedding party is comfortable with their role.

There are many things to think about in the preparation of a wedding, I aim to make it as enjoyable and stress free as possible. Your wedding will be the only ceremony I will perform on that day, so my focus will be on you.

The marriage ceremony is the centre of your wedding and the most important part of your wedding day because:

  • It is when your promises (vows) are made.
  • It is when the legal contract is completed.
  • It is when you stand before your family and friends to declare your love for and commitment to each other.

A marriage ceremony is a religious or civil legal ceremony, specially created to match the needs of the couple being married.

A wedding ceremony can be very formal or informal, but most importantly it should reflect the personalities and choices of the couple being married.

A well designed wedding ceremony should be personal and intimate with a clear structure. The ceremony should flow effortlessly, and maintain the interest of participants and guests. Everyone present should feel part of this special event.

At the completion of the marriage ceremony you, two witnesses and the Marriage Celebrant, will be required to sign the Marriage Register and Marriage Certificates. You will be presented with your Marriage Certificate.
